A reporter doing a good job is impressive
Read this report on global warming and President Bush’s reaction to it, and you’ll be impressed. Via AmericaBlog.
The reporter lays out the facts and context, provides historical background, reveals the businesses working to obscure the facts for their short-term self-interest, and highlights George Bush’s befuddled responses. Wonderful reporting. I’m not going to extract any of the report, because it deserves to be read in its entirety. You’ll not be sorry you did.
And, to provide a sharp contrast, here’s the other sort of reporter, simply outgassing hot air, with not a fact in sight, just incorrect opinions—the type of reporter who should be barred from the profession. Crap like this is okay in a bar discussion, but it should never go over the public airways. This guy should be really, really ashamed.
