Exceptional shave
A very fine shave today. The D.R. Harris lather, worked up with the Rooney Style 2, was of course extremely good. Then the razor: this is a gold Fat Boy (and therefore probably has some special name) that I hadn’t yet used. It’s in absolutely mint condition—if it was every used by anyone, they took very good care of it. With a new Astra Superior blade, it delivered a superb shave: totally smooth, nick-free, and easy. And Pashana is a favorite aftershave.
UPDATE: I posted a query on ShaveMyFace.com, and a member quickly answered: the gold-plated Fat Boy is yclept the “Executive.”
I guess a gold Fat Boy could be called a “Golden Boy!”
