Want a very yummy salt?
Try this one. The Eldest put some on tomato slices, which she broiled and then chopped and tossed with penne pasta (and, I assume, a dab of olive oil).

I cut the (supermarket, semi-tasteless) tomatoes in half, dumped out some of the seedy pulp, put slivers of garlic where the pulp had been, drizzled the cut side with olive oil and then sprinkled with the salt, and then roasted cut-side up until I considered them to be done. Roughly chopped them and tossed them with pasta. A vast improvement over the original tomatoes!
