Three passes to perfection
First class shaving kit today: D.R. Harris Almond shave stick—and I always get a great lather from D.R. Harris shaving soap—and the Rooney Style 2 produced a fine thick lather. A Gillette Slim Handle (in gold, so it probably has a special name) holding a brand new Gillette 7 O’Clock SharpEdge blade did a great job (though I still like the Fat Boy better, I admit). Finally, a splash of Parfums de Nicolaï New York aftershave, which I use when I want to feel debonair (the combination of Fred Astaire, Cary Grant, and Steve McQueen).
