T&H Rose
A late start, though I did indeed shave some hours ago. The Truefitt & Hill Rose is a very nice shaving cream—fragrant, loads of lather, and doesn’t have the day-glo pink color of some of the others. A good lather from the Plisson HMW 12, then three passes with the Pils, a splash of TOBS St. James, and I was good to go.

I think you’ll like the Pils. I read that they are now having problems keeping up with orders, a good sign.

…this is backtracking a bit but seems like the right place to mention the Feather stainless razor… a 150 dollar competitor for the Pils. Were you aware of it? I was not!
…it looks very conventional, three piece, but evidently quite well made. Classic Shaving has them…also the US distributor I believe. Why don’t you inquire…they might send you one for evaluation.
