  1. The ” 6 Degrees of Separation ” concept is a really quite an interesting mind game to play. Example: I know a priest that knows a cardinal that knows the Pope so therefore I am 3 degrees separated from knowing the Pope. Or I know my congressman that knows the president 2 degrees.

When you actually get to 6 degrees you could really know just about anyone on earth by 6 degrees of separation and that it is really quite fascinating. John Stewart premise was I believe just that, when I saw the clip the other night.

I think the general American public would be astounded by how much Arab money is actually in the US and how intricately woven the funds are spread throughout America. It’s all very hush, hush as the Arabs never like to draw attention to their investments.

  2. Six degrees is a lot. But the point of the clip really is that Fox News deliberately and with care tried to blacken the name of the iman of the community center by associating him with a Saudi billionaire, concealing that same billionaire’s ownership stake in Fox News.

I think the outlines are becoming clear: the Saudis want the Western/Mulim confrontation, and they want it to boil over and drain the US (as indeed Iraq and Afghanistan did), weakening the US and thus in effect strengthening Saudi Arabia. Moreover, Wahhabism, the most virulent of the Islamic reactionary jihadic branches, is a Saudi product and export.

Saudi, in other words, is not neutral. And indeed the protests that Fox News promotes and pushes are helping the Islamic extremists: Read this story.

I would say that Fox News is very much a terrorist organization that follows classic principles of smearing and sliming opposition and avoids rational discussion in favor of shouting heads stirring up Americans against themselves.

  3. But Boy …they have great looking Barbie girls, just like the kind the Arabs like to run around with but not take home to mother !

  4. On a more serious note…sorry I just had to throw the above in…

I think that one of the greatest threats to Islam are the conservative religious right evangelicals in the USA. I truly believe that the powers in the Middle East understand this very clearly and are set to undermine the shifting in the past few decades towards this.

What strikes me as so interesting is the cozy relationship that the Republican hierarchy has with the Saudi’s in many business’s based in the USA. (Bush, Cheney et al)

  5. I think that the religious right evangelicals are much more dangerous to the US than to Islam.

  7. A sample of Fox news Contributors:

John Bolton: Screeching “Hawk” and former USA – UN ambassador
    Karl Rove: Hawkish
    Newt Gingrich: Hawkish
    Oliver North: brazen Hawk
Dick Morris: Liberal but will sell-out to anyone that pays.

These all work at the “Hallow ground” Terrorist command center ?
