Hoffritz Slant and Trumper Violet
That’s a close-up. Here’s the full panoply:
The Pils travel brush performed admirably: loads of thick luscious lather, no fear of running short. Then the newly refurbished Hoffritz took over, holding a new Swedish Gillette blade: shaving perfection. Three totally smooth passes, completely flawless. A splash of Spanish Leather, and I’m ready for the day.
Once again I failed to take a special “before” photo of the Hoffritz Slant Bar before its rhodium replating, but here’s a clip from a previous use:
As always, click photos to enlarge.

Nice! I must get some Spanish Leather after shave – such a wonderful scent.

Spanish Leather is a wonderful scent. Should I pick up the 100 ml glass bottle or the 200 ml plastic for roughly the same price?

I went with the plastic. I’ve heard that for long-term storage glass is preferable, but this seems to be doing fine and it’s at least 3 years old. (I have so many different aftershaves that any particular one gets used up very slowly.)

I noticed your Trumpers Limes aftershave is the glass variety. If you were to order say Skye, which one would you go for?

Truthfully, I’d go with the less expensive alternative. At the time I bought the glass container, I didn’t see plastic. OTOH, the glass container is very nice indeed. Hard to say.
