Plisson, Trumper, iKon, and Obsession
The title summarizes the shave, but omits the wonderful thickness and fragrance of the lather and the comfort of the iKon (though that Swedish Gillette blade must soon be switched out—I noticed in the ATG pass—and I think I’ll move to currently available blades for a while). Obsession is still a novelty to me, and I’m enjoying it.

I’m biased (perhaps unduly) against designer fragrances. You like this one, eh?

It’s not bad. Here’s why I bought it: I really like Paul Sebastian aftershave a lot, and recently I decided to check Basenotes.net to see their analysis the fragrance. (Top Notes: Sage, Lavender; Middle Notes: Armoise; Base Notes: Sandalwood, Patchouli, Myrhh, Musk, Vanilla) Then at FragranceNet.com, I was told that people who liked Paul Sebastian also liked Obsession, so I took a chance. It’s not bad, but of course fragrances are the epitome of YMMV.
