Super Speed week begins with a fine shave
This week is Super Speeds. I begin with the flare tip above. This new Nikon doesn’t focus terribly well, I notice. So it goes.
The Wee Scot had no problems producing a very good lather from the Mitchell’s Wool Fat, and the Super Speed with a previously used Rapira blade did a good three-pass shave. I don’t find the Rapira so sharp as some of the other blades I use, but of course YMMV.
A splash of Shaving Shop, and I’m ready to get to work.

Which Nikon exactly was it that you ended up with? I thought you were considering the Canon with 35x optical…

Is it possible that you were in Manual Focus without realizing it? I hear focusing manually with that machine can be a touch fiddly.

No, it was doing autofocus, but not very well. I have tried manual focus and it’s better.
