Looks like a good list, but so disappointed that it does not contain A CANTICLE FOR LIEBOWITZ. What a engrossing epic tale in spite of the scientific doubts now about the rerunning of the big bang.

I totally agree, and Walter M. Miller, Jr was a great writer. I have, in addition to A Canticle for Leibowitz, a collection of all his stories. Wonderful writer.

I’m on my phone so I can’t view the list, but I swear I saw it when I voted.

I now see it quite plainly on the list. Don’t know how I overlooked CANTICLE. The original list as I recall was organized differently – no alpha group breaks, and numeric titles appeared at the end.

They may have rearranged the list because they kept getting complaints that various titles were omitted when they were just difficult to find in the original arrangement. I’m speculating, but usability testing by customers after product release is all too common, particularly in web displays and interfaces.
