A Feather in the Weber
NoHelmet on wicked_edge suggested the Weber+Feather combination, and it produced a very fine, first-class shave this morning. The soap (following MR GLO) was a Mama Bear Hydrogen Fragrance shave stick, from which I got a fine lather with a New Forest brush. I loaded the Weber with a fresh Feather and in three passes got a very fine shave indeed. The first pass showed a little resistance—as though wearing through a coating on the blade’s edge—but passes two and three were uncommonly smooth and easy.
A tiny dab of Primalan aftershave balm, and I’m set for the say. My eye is feeling much better now, though still light sensitive. But that will fade in time, I trust.

I get a very nice shave with a Rapira blue/purple pack blade. Those come from bestshave in a 10 pack. Michael, have you tried any variety of TFS soap? I get excellent results with that soap. Regards, Bradley

I’m unfamiliar with TFS soap, at least under that name. Do you have a link?

They are available through Barbieredifigaro. I participated in a group buy on B&B forum. Regards, Bradley

Aha. I haven’t tried the soap. Thanks for pointing it out.
