BBS with the Silvertone
The Omega Pro 48 is getting in shape. I worked up a fine lather from Mystic Waters Sensitive Skin shaving soap—my skin is not sensitive, but I do like the soap—and worked it into my beard with pleasure. Like the Ecotools brush, the Pro 48 requires a bit longer loading, in the case of the 48 because the brush is so large.
The Silvertone continues with the Kai blade, and as I use it more, I’m finding that I really like the feel of this little $2.25 razor (the Amazon name for the $2.25 price is Sodial): it’s comfortable and I’m even growing fond of the odd little knob.
Three passes, a splash of test aftershave #4, and I’m on my way.

Anche io ogni tanto uso il rasoio Silvertone con lama feather, peccato che in serrata della testa la lametta tende leggermente a stortarsi comunque non incide sulla rasatura, anche lei a notato questo difettino,??
Grazie.-

Because the double-edged blade is so thin, DE razors are designed to bend the blade over a hump in the baseplate to make the blade rigid. It’s not just the Silvertone that does this: ALL DE razors do it.
