The magic of the kid’s plate

with 3 comments

I’ve blogged about the kid’s plate, and today found that it’s working in many ways. The Wife and I went for lunch to the Red House Café in Pacific Grove, a favorite. I had a sandwich I always enjoy—the rare roast beef with horseradish sauce—and found, to my surprise, that I could finish only half. I brought the other half home. I also could finish only half the pasta salad that came with it. I must be getting accustomed to a new portion size.

  1. Just don’t start taking the kid’s plate with you to restaurants and asking them to serve your food on it…
