Cute idea: frozen wine cubes

Freeze leftover wine for drinks or sauces

Pour leftover wine into an ice cube tray and freeze. You can either use the frozen wine cubes for mixed drinks or add it to sauces while cooking.

  1. Also great idea for homemade pesto — freeze it into cubes to use as needed. A cube can really help a bland spaghetti sauce, etc. I make mine during the summer from homegrown basil and then have it available all year. Excellent w/ basil, pecans, garlic, parmesan, and olive oil.
