Paislays shaving soap

leave a comment »

Another vintage shaving soap today: Paislays lavender-scented soap in a polygonal plastic bowl. Still does the job, though: with the ebony-handled Sabini, a fine lather created and then, with the Edwin Jagger ivory-handled Chatsworth, holding a Black Beauty blade, removed. Three passes, a polishing pass with my own mix of oils, and then Taylor of Old Bond Street No. 74 Victorian Limes aftershave.
