Caroline Kennedy unable to state her qualifications for Senate position
Interesting: no answer when asked what her qualifications were to be Senator. I think it’s probably wise of her not to answer, since her qualifications are, so far as I can tell, that she has the surname “Kennedy.”
Knowing next to nothing about any of the candidates, I think the best appointment would be someone who has already won voter approval for a state-wide office, such as Andrew Cuomo, or someone who is already serving in Congress as a Representative. Either would have at least some imprimature of Congressional expertise or voter mandate. Sorry, Caroline.
