Yes, Minister and Yes, Prime Minister

Two really wonderful series from the BBC are Yes, Minister, which follows the struggle of a new Minister in the UK government, and Yes, Prime Minister continues the story when the Minister is made Prime Minister. Both series are available here, and I assure you that you can watch them many times with great enjoyment (just as with the Black Adder series).

Bernard Woolley is the Minister’s (and Prime Minister’s) aide and Sir Humphrey Appleby is the head of the Civil Service division for the Minister. Here’s a brief clip (via Mind Hacks) from the Yes, Minister series:
