An excellent lather from the D.R. Harris Almond stick, thanks to the Plisson Chinese Grey. And then my gold (plated) iKon smoothed away the stubble most comfortably, thanks to the Swedish Gillette blade it carried. A splash of Pashana and The Wife and I are off to Santa Cruz.

Michael – you keep mentioning using Swedish Gillette blades, but I thought they were out of production and thus not available. Can you tell your readers how to get them? I really would appreciate a reply or blog article. Thanks!

On one of the forums someone who had overstocked sold off part of his stash, and I picked up 300 blades. Since a blade can easily last a week’s worth of shaves—and since I also use other blades—I figure that I’m good for a decade.
