  3. I vividly recall an interview in the late 60’s given by Morarji Desi, India’s Prime Minister, on national TV. When asked how he accounted for his excellent health, he responded that he drank a little bit of his urine every day. He subsequently died at age 100 years.

    Some say that high protein diets require lots of water to metabolize; thus a lot of good minerals are excreted in the urine. Putting some back might not be all bad.

  4. I remember that guy. (Apparently, his morning drink made quite an impression on me.) And it was a cup, as I recall—not just a tablespoon.

    Somehow I could not bring myself to try it.
