Still working on the Wunderbar, today with Soap Commander Love
Soap Command Love, which I understand is an homage to Klar Kabinett, is a very fine shaving soap, and in this case the fragrance matches my memory of Klar Kabinett’s fragrance, which seems to have been lost in the bar of KK that I retained (although the lather was good). But today, using the RazoRock brush shown, I had the dual pleasure of great lather and fine fragrance.
The Wunderbar still is tricky for me, but today I felt I made some progress. Still, I got two small nicks, something that doesn’t happen with (e.g.) the iKon X3 or 102. But I am not ready to throw in the towel yet: I went for a few months trying to learn the Apollo Mikron and finally “got it,” and enjoyed extremely nice shaves thereafter.
Three passes, BBS result, two nicks. A splash of D.R. Harris Pink Aftershave—a repeat because it’s so nice on a warm day—and the day begins.
