House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell continue to endorse Trump

What would Trump have to do to lose the endorsement of such moral cowards as Ryan and McConnell? Be videotaped knocking down a child?

Every day the Ryan and McConnell continue to endorse Trump for President of the United States and Commander-in-Chief of the US military is a day that reveals more of their true character and their true interest: not in the welfare of this country, but in their ambition and power.

Ryan and McConnell are moral cowards, and Trump is does not even rank that high: he is actively (and angrily) malignant. The GOP no longer deserves any respect because it has shown that there are no depths to which its leaders will not sink.

The fact that Trump thinks “working hard” is a sacrifice—and a sacrifice that he compares to losing one’s child in combat, or in sacrificing one’s own life to save the lives of those in his unit—reveals just how utterly shallow and narcissistic he is.

Can you imagine Trump, who has no self-control or moral compass, being the person who will decide whether to launch a nuclear strike?
