Mystery brush, Valobra shave stick, 102, and Stetson Sierra

I got this brush quite a while ago, and The Wife adopted it and just recently returned it, so this is the first use in a long time. It’s a good brush, though somewhat generic: the text you see is the only identifying information. I think I ordered it from the UK, but not sure from which company.

In any event, it made a very nice lather after I rubbed the Valobra shave stick over my stubble. Because of the knot size, it was not quite so easy as the Wee Scot, and more water had to be worked in to get the brush fully loaded, but it served well. Still, I think this brush will work better with soap in a tub.

The wonderful 102 did its usual excellent job—BBS in three passes with no problems—and a splash of Stetson Sierra took me over shave finish line in fine style.
