Continuing the tiny-brush series: Vie-Long horsehair, Mickey Lee Drunken Goat, and the iKon 102

with 2 comments

Yet another tiny brush, this Vie-Long horsehair brush did a fine job and held plenty of lather for all three passes. Mickey Lee Soapworks Drunken Goat is a favorite soap, and is well worth getting IMO.

Three passes with the iKon 102 left my face perfectly smooth, with no problems encountered along the way. A splash of Klar Seifen Sandalwood, and the weekend begins.

I’ll mention again: if you experience clogging with the 102, make sure your lather is not too dry: add a little more water and see if that solves the problem.

  1. Is it even possible to get a bad shave with the SC102?

  2. Only if the blade is bad. The razor is great.
