I was intrigued to see this post from a decade ago (to the very day) suddenly get a lot of hits. It’s not a bad post, and it links to a very interesting article.

Sweet-tooth shave

Mama Bear’s Vanilla Cream has, to my nose, a wonderful fragrance and the lather is absolutely first rate, than the RazoRock Bruce synthetic gets credit for an assist. The Mama Bear soaps give stunning lather if your tap water is reasonably soft.

Three passes of the wonderful iKon Open Comb (which I believe now is sold only with the B1 coating, and that is a very good coating indeed) left my face perfectly smooth. The iKon OC is an exceptionally comfortable razor, so not even the threat of a nick.

A splash of the Tendre Madeleine EDT as an aftershave—and it does smell like a Madeleine.

And The Eldest arrives today. Lunch at the Fishhook and then Finnerty Gardens, I think.
